Sun Outdoors Cape May
There is just something special about starting to smell the ocean water as you approach the beach.
Cape May does have several campgrounds, so it is important that you know exactly which one you are doing to. There is a Sun Resorts and a Sun Outdoors both in Cape May and both on the same road.
Upon pulling into Sun Outdoors Cape May, we knew we were going to have a great time. The check in process was smooth and simple. We rented a golf cart so the keys for that were waiting for us upon check in also.
Sun Outdoors Cape May offers back-in 50 amp full hookup sites throughout the large campground. The internal roads are a bit tight for our 40′ fifth wheel, but as long as you go slow and are aware of your surroundings you will be just fine.
We had a back-in site on the main road which made it super easy to back in and get set up to start enjoying our adventure.
Camping Options
There are more than just RV sites available at Sun Outdoors Cape May, so it makes the perfect place to stay when you want to visit Cape May, but also have the experience of camping in the woods. You can rent a Safari glamping tent, cottage, cabin or even a tiny house!
Attractions and Amenities
We spent majority of our first day at the pool. The pool is large and plenty of space for everyone to swim and have fun. There is also a kiddie pool and a hot tub.
To make sure the kids are never bored, there are two playgrounds and a jumping pillow!
Once you are ready to leave the campground to go explore the surrounding areas, you will not have a hard time finding something to do.
